Heavenly Cask Series

Zacapa fans can now enjoy a whole range of limited edition rums. That's because Zacapa La Doma marks the launch of the Heavenly Cask Series. In honour of the Zacapa 23 rum, four limited versions of the rum will be released, each representing one of the cask types in which the Zacapa 23 matures. This is because each rum in the series is set apart by additional maturation in one of the four casks.
The Zacapa La Doma makes a strong start in this series with its exceptionally good taste. For rum and especially Zacapa lovers, as well as for collectors, definitely a must-have.

Maturing process

The Zacapa 23, which is honoured by the Heavenly Cask series, matures in four different casks. Two ex-whiskey casks from America, one ex-sherry and one ex-pedro-Ximenez cask determine the elaborate maturation process of this unique rum.
The Zacapa La Doma honours the ex-whisky cask by an additional maturation in this cask. This is also how its character and taste come about. The rum spends 6 - 24 years in this barrel and thus achieves its perfect and unique aroma.

Flavour

The Zacapa La Doma from Guatemala tastes like a tropical dream of sugar and fruit. Juicy pineapple and sweet banana are the main components that make up its flavour. It is reminiscent of a delicious fruit mix, which is particularly suitable for mixing tropical fruit cocktails. This fruitiness is joined by the heavenly sweetness of sugar cane, honey and vanilla. All in all, you can expect a harmonious taste experience, which leaves a delicate sweetness on the tongue.
