Volcán De Mi Tierra Tequila Blanco not only tells the story of tequila with its name, but it also has a very impressive manufacturing history itself. Passion, tradition and innovation are what make up its production. It is lovingly handcrafted in its own distillery using traditional methods.
A blend of 75% roasted agave heated in a kiln fire for 44 hours and 25% highland agave gives the tequila a unique character. A traditional stone wheel is used to crush the agave. It is then fermented with champagne and rum yeast. Then the whole is distilled first in copper and then in stainless steel before the mixture is left to rest for 30 days. So no effort was spared in the production process to get a tequila that scores with an impressive personality.
