Tyrconnell 10 YO Madeira Finish initially matures for ten years in former American oak Bourbon barrels. To give it its special charm, it is finished in Portuguese liqueur barrels. This results in a fascinating mixture of Irish tradition and sweetish aromas.

Nosing

In the nose, Madeira Finish is an elegant composition of different aromas. It immediately offers its sweet side and reveals notes of caramel and honey. These are combined in the nosing with some malt and a subtle spice.

Flavor

On the palate, it is then fruity and soft. A real charmer, who also convinces with his further components. Some honey can be tasted, but the single malt whiskey does not forget its Irish roots either. A hint of spice provides a special note.
