Slaughter House Whiskey is a warm, sweet, American-style whiskey that comes from renowned winemaker David Phinney, who first entered the spirits market with his popular Straight Edge bourbon which was aged in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels. Now he is releasing a new cask-finished whiskey; this time aged in Papillion barrels which previously held a Bordeaux-type red wine blend, imparting a rich flavour of their own.
