Colour

The unusual black colour of the gin is actually due to natural ingredients such as the dark aronia berry, which is a sour fruit used in jams, for example. This makes Scapegrace Black the first gin with a natural black colour ever.

Aroma

The Scapegrace Black has an aroma of tropical fruits, but at the same time earthy, floral and slightly spicy nuances.

Serving recommendations

The following insider tip should be tested: in combination with tonic water the Scapegrace Black transforms its black colour into a red tone. The acidity of a Granny Smith apple can be perfectly combined for this purpose, for example as decorative slices on the edge of the glass.
