Ron Atlantico Private Cask is called Ron Atlantico Gran Reserva since November 2017. With the changed name also came a change in label and bottle design. Inside the bottles is still the same rum though.
Ron Atlantico Private Cask is a blend of finest small-batch aged rums that are carefully selected from various distilleries throughout the Dominican Republic. After being blended together, they are aged again, resulting in a mellower, more complex spirit. In a final step, the rum is transferred to another set of barrels where it is aged again for 15 to 25 years. This third aging uses the Solera method that guarantees consistently balanced rum.
