This golden drink is made with the help of the tahona method, which refers to the stone wheel that crushes the agave. This wheel is responsible for the name of this premium product series from the house of Patrón with Roca being the Spanish word for stone. The resulting mass also includes agave fibres, which become part of the fermentation and distillation process as well. The liquid ages for 14 months in old bourbon barrels. This procedure is what gives the tequila its beautiful colour as well as its exceptional aromas. Those include oak, caramel, vanilla and a dash of cinnamon. A hint of pepper rounds the Roca Patrón Añejo Tequila perfectly off!
