Rittenhouse Famous Straight Rye is a rich whiskey with notes of freshly baked bread, caramel, and brown sugar, overlaid across a solid base of rye grain. It has been aged for at least four years, to give it oaky notes and to help develop complex flavours. This rye whiskey has been named "North American Whiskey of the Year" at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2006.
