Production history

During its production, Planteray Fiji Rum takes a short journey from the Fiji Islands to France. In its country of origin, local sugar cane is processed into molasses, which forms the basis of this rum. The various rums in this blend are then aged there for 2-3 years in bourbon barrels. They are then sent to France, where they are stored in Ferrand barrels for a further year. The maturation of the rum at very different temperatures ensures a particularly exceptional taste.
