The Nucano Tobala Joven Mezcal can write not only 100% agave, but also 100% artisanal on its label. Because in the production of this mezcal, an old tradition is preserved. The agaves are crushed with traditional stone wheels and distilled in copper pots. With this mezcal, the efforts in the field are honoured. Honest craftsmanship results in an authentic and high quality mezcal.

Taste

Tobala agaves are used in the production of Nucano Tobala Joven Mezcal. These are not only much smaller and rarer than the well-known Espadin agave, but also much more complex in flavour. After 12 to 15 years of maturation, this type of agave has reached its perfect aroma. The Nucano Tobala Joven Mezcal presents itself dry and earthy with a taste of olives, limes and wild mushrooms. Nevertheless, it surprises on the finish with a sweet peach note.
