Manufacture
Nucano Espadin Anejo Mezcal is made from Espadin agave aged for five years. Due to the degree of maturity, the agave can also be clearly tasted in the mezcal. The maturing process takes place in oak barrels, which gives the Nucano Mezcal its very own taste. Once the agave has matured long enough, it is distilled twice in a copper pot.
Flavour
With an extraordinary fruitiness, the Nucano Espadin Anejo Mezcal plays around the senses. Cherry, fig and cranberry define its main aroma. Cashew, vanilla and caramel also play a role in the complex aroma of this Nucano mezcal. In the finish, there are also slight tastes of coffee and chocolate. Thus, this mezcal presents itself as versatile and complex in taste.
