Ming River Sichuan Baijiu 0.7L (45% Vol.)
Ming River is a Chinese baijiu - the largest category of spirits in the world, produced in even larger quantities than vodka and whisky put together. Red sorghum millet is first fermented with spring water in earth pits using naturally cultivated wheat yeast. After two months, the mash is finally distilled. The distillate matures for up to two years, after which it is blended into Ming River. Production takes place in China's oldest distillery, which has been operating in Luzhou in the Szechuan region since 1573. The method used by the manufactory is over 700 years old.
Ming River Sichuan Baijiu smells of green apple peel, melon, papaya and guava. The taste skillfully combines exotic notes of pink peppercorns, pineapple and aniseed. The mixing possibilities are endless. Many international bartenders have already created sophisticated cocktails in which Ming River Sichuan Baijiu plays the leading role.
