Martell VS 1715 Fine Cognac 0.7L (40% Vol.)
The house uses a specific double distillation method in traditional Charentais pot stills to extract the essence of the eaux-de-vie. The grapes used come from the four finest growth areas of the Charente region: Borderies, Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, and Fins Bois. After distillation, the eaux-de-vie age in oak barrels infusing soft and subtle tannins characterised by finesse and complexity. Naturally, the eaux-de-vie absorb some of their flavour from the wood and acquire its amber colour and special aroma.
In the nose, Martell VS offers a mild aroma of dried fruit, grapes, and woody notes. On the palate, it presents itself smooth and strong with fruity and floral notes accentuated by oak wood. The finish is lingering and fruity.
