Smell and taste

La Cuvée champagne has a pale gold color and very fine bubbles that ensure a consistent head. This cuvée is delicate on the nose, with aromas of fresh citrus fruits and white flowers. It is more complex on the palate: white peach and white fruit follow one after the other. This sparkling wine has a great finesse and freshness, achieved through long ageing in the cellar. This champagne (40% vol.) is best enjoyed at a temperature of 7-10 degrees. It is perfect as an aperitif, but also as an accompaniment to fish, white meat and shellfish.

Production

This Champagne Cuveée was created from more than 100 vintages of the purest grape must, giving it an unmistakable character. The grape varieties Chardonnay (55%), Pinot Noir (35%) and Pinot Meunier (15%) were combined to create this wonderful blend of purity, freshness and elegance.

Laurent-Perrier

Laurent-Perrier, one of the best-known French sparkling wine producers from the Champagne region, is still largely a family business despite being listed on the stock exchange. Bernard Nonancourt, one of the most important champagne players, coined the Laurent-Perrier style. He wanted to create an elegant aperitif atmosphere for the champagnes of the Laurent-Perrier house. He achieved this by increasing the proportion of Chardonnay. This is why you can still recognize a Laurent-Perrier champagne today by its complex character: citrus fruits, aromas of white fruits, plus notes of toast and cake - a wonderful combination of freshness and directness.
