Laphroaig Quarter Cask is bottled at 48% vol and is not chill filtered. Before bottling, the whisky ages in vintage bourbon casks for several years and is then switched to smaller oak barrels. The latter results in the wonderfully smoky aroma of this Scotch with fantastic notes of oak.
