Named after a beach near the distillery, this bottling has a lot to offer. The intense peat aroma rises immediately into the nose. Mixed with a slightly playful sweetness and hints of citrus fruits, it presents an exciting nosing experience.
Flavor
A first sip is enough to be inspired by Kilchoman Machir Bay. The Scotch holds back his smokiness in the first moment. Instead he offers sweet vanilla and butterscotch notes. In addition, there are hints of fruit that reveal its ripening time in sherry barrels. Only in the second moment the sweetish smoke prevail, which gives the Scotch a certain strength of character. Light maritime notes also lead to the home of the distillery and the local beach.
