Gin 1689 Authentic Dutch Pink Gin
A modern classic
The 1689 Authentic Dutch Pink Gin is based on the 1689 Authentic Gin recipe, which combines the English and Dutch cultures. The recipe dates from the time when William of Orange ascended the British throne and promoted the production of juniper brandy from his Dutch homeland. Centuries later, the Amsterdam Craft Gin Company and master distiller Herman Jansen brought the recipe back to the market in a modern form. The pink version is the first Dutch Pink Gin to be produced.
Taste
In the 1689 Authentic Dutch Pink Gin, additional raspberries and strawberries are added during distillation, which gives this good drop its pink color. In addition, juniper, lemon, apple, orange, nutmeg, aniseed and cloves are added to give this wine its sweet, fruity taste of berries. With this light sweetness, gin is ideal to serve it pure or as a fruity cocktail.
