Deux Frères Dry Gin 0.5L (43% Vol.)
Deux Frères Dry Gin
Production
The Deux Frères Dry Gin was born from the idea of two brothers. First they created with 11 botanicals in their own home in Switzerland the unique gin we know today as Deux Frères. Shortly afterwards, the production was moved to Austria and 25 botanicals were bottled. The traditional distillery in Austria still produces the gin today with its centuries of experience and by hand, which guarantees high quality in this premium gin.
Botanicals
24 of the 25 botanicals that each bottle of Deux Frères Dry Gin contains are distilled in Tyrol according to the London Dry Standard. These include, for example, organic juniper berries, organic lemon peel, rose blossoms, lavender blossoms and arnica roots.
Unchanged quality, familiar taste - but new colour!
Since May 2023, the Deux Frères brand from Zurich has relied entirely on natural and regional ingredients for the coloring of its gin. Of course, Deux Frères continue to stick to their philosophy and only use natural ingredients, without stabilizers and artificial colors. Until now, an Asian flower has been used as the coloring ingredient, which gave the gin its distinctive blue color. This has now been replaced by a regional alternative, underscoring the commitment to sustainable production. A color change from blue to violet is no longer present. Nevertheless, the gin reacts to the pH change by adding tonic. In its pure state, the gin presents itself in a delicate pink. With the addition of tonic, the color develops into a bright pink.
Flavor
In terms of taste, the Deux Frères Dry Gin with its many botaniclas is a very versatile, yet balanced blend. Especially its slightly spicy character can be tasted with the first sip. This Dry Gin tastes wonderful with a little tonic water, in which its aromas can unfold optimally.
