Connemara Peated Single Malt Whiskey 0.7L (40% Vol.)
Connemara Peated Single Malt Whiskey
Connemara Peated Single Malt Whiskey is sometimes also called the Connemara Standard. Gourmets who like it peaty and smoky will get their money's worth with this award-winning Irish Whiskey. Connemara Peated comes in a shapely 0.7L bottle and has an alcohol content of 40% vol.
.Nosing
Once poured out, Connemara Peated reveals his wonderful nature in the nose. Fresh herbs surround the senses, while the smoke reveals its strength of character. But it also has a sweet side that comes out and is rounded off by oakwood nuances.
Flavor
One of the most exciting things about the Connemara Standard is that it is manufactured more according to the Scottish model. The malt used is dried over peat fire, which gives the Single Malt its smokiness. Also unusual for Irish Whisky: it is distilled twice.
This gives Connemara Peated its special peat smoke aroma. The smoke floats above the other aromas and can also be perceived on the palate throughout. Below it presents an elegant depth and an exciting combination of aromas. Fruits and malt are combined to an inspiring composition, which is rounded off by sweet honey notes.
Finish
As charming as his nature showed itself in the nose and on the tongue, as charming he completes the swallow. In the long aftertaste he once again shows his best sides and proudly presents the decaying aromas.
Awards
High quality and full of class, these attributes are impressively combined in the Connemara Peated. That this Irish Whiskey is something special is also shown by the numerous prizes it has won - among other things, it was awarded at the World Whiskey Awards.
