Chapter 7 Monologue Tormore 1990 Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky 0.7L (50.2% Vol.)
Chapter 7 Monologue – Tormore 1990, 31 YO Single Malt Scotch Whisky
This is a single cask bottling from a bourbon barrel that yielded only 237 bottles. Tormore is a relatively recent distillery with its impressive buildings located in Grantown-on-Spey in Speyside and belongs to Chivas Brothers. Although it began to be bottled as a single malt soon after it became part of the Chivas Brothers portfolio, it has never received significant backing, although two bottlings specifically for the French market in 2014 suggest that this may change. Chapter 7 already bottled a Tormore 17 Yo that received a Liquid Gold Award from Whisky Bible back in 2017. This cask is significant as it is the oldest single malt we've ever bottled.
