Story

Carlos I was a pioneer of the European idea. His motto at the time was "Plus Ultra", which means in English: Ever on. The Osborne distillery also made this its motto and never stopped refining its brandies. The new Carlos I Imperial XO is a true flagship product of the brand. Only the best brandies are combined in it. This blend matures for a full 20 years in former Olorosos or Amontillados barrels so that the brandy can develop its fabulous aroma.

Taste

The regality of this brandy is also noticeable in its unique taste. For the broad spectrum of flavours of Carlos I Brandy has much to offer. The palate is spoiled here with delicate fruity notes of sherry and the gentle sweetness of vanilla. Added to this are spicy notes of roasted almonds and oak. Hints of caramel, nutmeg and tobacco are also noticeable, especially in the finish.
