Botucal Planas is a white rum, which rests for up to six years in vintage oak barrels and single-malt barrels. During this storage period, the rum develops excellent notes of coconuts and ground coffee beans, which taste wonderfully complex. The reason why Botucal Planas is such a complex, but still a white rum, is the final filtration. After the resting time, Botucal Planas is subject to a complex carbon filtration, which is responsible for its crystal-clear look.
