Big Peat Islay Blended Malt was only awarded the title "Best Blended Malt Scotch Whisky" in 2010, and not without reason. The blend of smoky peaty whiskies like Ardbeg, Caol Ila, Bowmore and Port Ellen is a real specialty. A drink not to be missed.
Taste
This Islay is also typical with rich smoke and peat aromas. Spicy smoke dominates and mixes with sweet accents, rounded off by a dry yet sweet finish.
