Belvedere Heritage 176 0.7L (40% Vol.)
Belvedere Heritage 176
This special vodka from the Belvedere brand is the result of a years-long process and revives traditions. It was distilled over fire using Polish rye and the purest water. To elicit a distinctive flavour from the rye, the time-honoured tradition of malting was used. Belvedere Heritage takes you on a journey into the history of vodka making.
Special production: Malting
The special production method of malting was practised by Polish vodka producers until the 19th century. But over time, this method fell more and more into oblivion and was replaced by other methods. With Belvedere Heritage, this time-honoured tradition celebrates its comeback. The result is a vodka whose rye aroma cannot be compared to any other vodka. This is because the method of malting gives the rye a much deeper and more complex taste.
The special aromas of the rye are elicited in three steps. First, rye is soaked in water to prepare it for germination. When it finally germinates, starch is converted into sugar. In a third step, the whole thing is heated, which finally releases the special flavours. The 176 in the name of the Belvedere stands for the temperature in Fahrenheit during malting.
Belvedere Heritage - Taste
In addition to the strong and full-bodied rye flavour, Belvedere Hertage 176 reveals notes of honey and walnut. Its special production method also sets it apart from any other vodka in terms of taste. Anyone who likes vodka should definitely not miss this special taste.
